We're hoping... that spring is just around the corner....  It's been one of the coldest winters on record.  No peas will be planted on St Patty's day... too much snow.

With Spring comes fresh and new.  We've got ideas in the hopper for a couple of new ensembles. Let's just say that there will be some new instrumentation and maybe addional singers.  We'll keep you posted.

So far this year...  The Colbys rang in the New Year at Hot Tomato's, in Hartford... New owners at the Maple Tree in Simsbury, CT... Valentine's Day at the Lion's Den, in Stockbridge, MA... a new season of Bellator Fighting Tournaments for John... and another Fundraising Concert for Homesafe, in Hollywood, FL.  

Homesafe supports "at risk" children and women.  Funds raised this year, over $400,000, exceeded expectations. We shared the stage with: Comedian, Dean Napolitano, Nicko McBrain, drummer from Iron Maiden;  Brett Loewenstern, 2010 American Idol, top 24 finalist; Tim 'Ripper' Owens, heavy metal singer;  Tico 'The Hitman' Toreres;  Bon Jovi's drummer... and aside from our own set, I got to sing backup for Eddie Money, who broght the house down.

An Exciting Year is coming to an end.  The year's highlights included:  Storm Nemo; "Home Safe" a fundraiser for at risk kids in FL; the Avon/Canton Rotary's "Taste of the Valley"; a tough year for the Yankees; a great year for the Sox; Jacob's Pillow's annual fundraising Gala; a Brewfest at Ski Sundown; our daughter's wedding, a horseback adventure in Iceland, bears in our backyard; and another year of ESPY, NASCAR and Bellator Fighting Tournament gigs for John. We are thankful for our friends, family, and fans.  Happy New Year!
